Intelligent Mail Barcode

The Intelligent Mail® barcode (formally known as the 4-State Customer Barcode) is the next generation of USPS® barcode technology used to sort and track letters and flats. The IMB barcode will be required to qualify for automation discounts beginning January 2009.

With a simple upgrade, Domino JetArray, Bitjet, and A-Series printers can print an Intelligent Mail® Barcode that is in full compliance with the IMB barcode specification.
